How buying a racing pigeon works
- Create a free account. It takes about 20 seconds and there is no password to remember.
- Browse the birds. Each lot shows photos, the eye, the ring number, strain, sex and year, and members can view the full pedigree.
- Enter the most you are willing to pay. We bid for you one step at a time, only as high as needed to keep you in front. Nobody sees your maximum.
- If someone outbids you, we email you straight away. A bid in the last minutes adds extra time, so nobody can snipe the bird at the final second.
- Win the bird and your invoice is ready right away: the winning bid plus a R150 buyer's fee. Pay by EFT within 48 hours, then collect the bird or have it couriered to you.
